Author Notes: The real title for this fics is Flavor of Life that I wrote in half last year.
Summary: The tiny crystal beads falling from Saga's cheeks slowly when he saw Tora’s condition in that emergency room.

Saga could not believe his ears. He had been waiting patiently for an hour at Narita’s Airport for Tora when strangers approached him and broke the bad news. There had been an accident; Tora had been rushed to a hospital in Fukui by that time. He hoped it was all a nightmare and he wanted to wake up from it now. He didn’t want to believe it, because he knew that he couldn’t bear it if he lost Tora. Not him, no.

He felt numb as he was led into a waiting car and sped off to Fukui. Time blurred, and before he knew it he was standing in an intensive-care unit looking down at a monstrous mask that bore no resemblance to his beloved. The face was brutally burned and swollen to twice the normal size. Each time Tora took a breath, it felt like it was going to be his last. Tiny crystal beads formed in the corners of his eyes, streaming slowly down his paled cheeks nonstop when he saw Tora’s condition in the emergency room. He doesn’t even realize it when his legs give out and send him falling to the cold floor.

The doctor silently led Saga out of the room. “Will he live?” he asked, willing the doctor to say what he wanted to hear. The doctor shook her head. Too much damaged had been done to Tora’s healthy lungs and they were failing to work properly. She advised him to contact his relatives and acquaintance. He didn’t know who to call first. His parents had gone to Nagano. He should call Tora’s mother but she was recovering from a stroke, this would surely be too much for her, she might be hospitalized again if she heard this news. The other members were on their way to Vienna as of a few hours ago. Nao told Saga to call him right after both of them arrived at the airport so that he could pick them up. He felt blank for a moment, because he did not know anyone in this town. Finally he decided to call a priest to perform the last rites. He came quietly to Tora’s bedside and his voice seemed to calm Tora’s breathing.

Later when he left, Saga felt that Tora was breathing easier than before. As if he was hanging on to each word that came from the priest’s mouth. Someone had kindly arranged accommodations for him in nearby lodge painted white, but it brought uncomfortable feelings to him though he does not know why. He later finds out that it was a halfway house for patients who were terminally ill. They looked at him with knowing eyes, thinking that he was also one of them. Indeed, he felt like one of them, as his other half lay dying in the hospital. If anything happened to Tora, he wouldn’t know how to carry on. The most immediate threat was his deteriorating lungs, but no, he would not give up easily, not now. He had to be strong for Tora’s sake. He would not allow the tears to come and visit his eyes again.

For the next few days Saga felt as if he was suspended in a grey void, unable to tell anyone of his struggle as he waited for Tora. The people at the house only reminded him of how close death was to his most precious one. They were kind to him when they found out, but he couldn’t talk anymore. Saga visited Tora daily, and the sight of him struggling to breathe was almost too much for him. The doctor was astonished at Tora’s tenacity. He refused to die and he was hanging on. Saga could tell that Tora could feel his presence in the room. In fact, he felt that the other had touched his hand that morning, when he told him of their future plans and how much he loved Tora, how he could not live without him.

By the next day, Tora was well enough to breathe on his own. The awful gasp from his mouth was no more. From then on, his recovery was swift and before long, he was on his feet again. When the medics began to remove some of the bandages, once again Saga was numb when he saw the extent of the damage to Tora’s face. Tora looked at himself and stared in total shock. Out of the blue, Saga gently told him that was not important at all; as long as they were together everything would be fine. He pulled Tora into his arms and stroked his back. He succeeds in soothing the other. Soon, he attended his therapy sessions with a vengeance, always asking for more, pushing his leg as long as possible. Saga quietly led him back to life; always with full confidence that Tora would somehow pull through.

They would face the other problems later, he was just thankful to the mighty God that he still had the taller man by his side. The doctor had told him that he would need major plastic surgery and that he might not be able to see properly again. After passing the toughest times in his life, Saga finally found the courage to call Tora’s mother. His hands shook as he punched the numbers. She was full of question but Saga kept the details from her and kept it short because he didn’t want to reveal more. It was enough for her to know that Tora was in good condition. He also made a phone call to their drummer, to explain what had happened to them. All they needed now was a little time and patience until he had fully recovered from his injuries.

A few months later,

The blowing spring wind played with Tora’s hair when he moved to the balcony, where he always enjoyed the neon lights of the city dancing in the darkness which as beautiful as a rainbow, contrast with the soft shine that the stars and the crescent moon were giving to the nocturnal life of Tokyo. “Tora shi”, he turned back when he heard someone call him, voice full of tenderness. He was very familiar with the owner of the voice, the one who was always with him no matter what happened. Saga, always by his side, every moment when he needed somebody to calm his tension. “Do you have any problems? Seems your mind wasn’t here”. Tora not answering in the nick of time, just staring at the brunette, a sweet smile carved on the guitarist face. He suddenly wrapped his arm around Saga’s waist, Saga was shocked with the quick action but later, he leaned onto Tora and rested his head on his lover’s shoulder.

It lasts for few minutes until Tora broke the silence. “I’m so happy to have you in my life. If you weren’t there by my side at that time, perhaps I would have di-” Tora’s words were stopped when a little peck landed on his quivering mouth. “Shh.. I won’t leave you that easily, just for things like that”. Saga grinned. “You belong to me forever after all”. Tora laughed with his lover’s statement. It makes him feel like he’s on cloud nine. He wrapped his strong arms around the smaller man, tighter than before. “Come, let’s get inside. It’s getting cold out here”. Saga said while breaking from their hug. Saga step inside of the apartment, holding Tora’s warm hand with his own. As soon as they were inside, Tora closed the sliding glass door to the balcony and hugged Saga again. “Let’s go to the bedroom” Tora said, caressing different spots of Saga’s face. Tora could tell his lover was blushing when he saw Saga’s cheek turn red. It wasn’t that hard to see on Saga’s fair skin. He just nodding as Tora led him into the bedroom that they used to make love.

just back from Bangkok few days ago. what a nice place to visit. ^^

oh.. i received some offer to the college when i'm still on trip. this one attract my attention. they gave me course of
Diploma In Aviation Management. does anybody know what this course all about? what career will i get
when graduate from it? is it GOODD??

one of my favorite chocolates. you should try if you're choc's lover. ^_^

this one was bought when i was on the way home. i think it taste like a milk? but doesn't matter as long
as it was taste good. haha.. Muslim can drink this. you can see a Halal logo somewhere at the box.

bought at Floating Market. one of the place that you must visit when arrive in Bangkok LoL. xDD
it quite crowded here (too many peoples and you can see many foreign tourist). i even saw some Korean students
(exchange student). i bought Doraemon's key chain. there was also Kamen Rider and Spiderman if not mistaken.
all of them was so cute. it cost only 20 bath. i bought myself a Disney Princess's 500 pieces puzzle too (39bath).
so cheap. haha.. it quite hard to find at my place since it just a small town. *nod nod*
the ring and bracelet was bought at Siam Park not from Floating Market. as collection only because
i don't wear things like that so often.

as you can see 2 of them was kimono style. finally i can see myself wearing it. hehe.. xDD
all of it only cost me 50- 150 bath only. bought at market in Pratu Nam and
Khlong Thoey (don't remember how to spell them correctly). *smack my head*
the white and gray shirt was a birthday present to my dearest friends. :3
both of them was born on the same month. i hope they fit with them since i don't know their size.
randomly bought because they're nice. ^-^

bad.. i already done with my fics but my computer was broken, AGAIN. *burst into tears*
lucky that i print out the fics when i'm trying to finish it. i just need to find some time to rewrite it. *sigh*
there will some change in the fics from the previous. only a tiny one. i want give a new title to this fics too instead of using FLAVOUR OF LIFE.

also the examination result will out on 12th march 2008. but i don't think i can take my result by that time. going back to my mother's hometown. hehe.. i'm quite nervous right now. wonder if they turn out very very well or not. *scratching head*
i'm thinking to take aviation/ tourism/ culinary arts course. can't i just take them all?? i raelly do want them all LoL. xDD

i made some handmade craft too. it took a while for me to finish it up since i'm not very used with it. it has been a while i doing such a things. 3 years? 4 years? i can't recall meh. (^^ゞ
